What can you say it works beautifully with the classic gummed flap and metal brad design. When you put the stamps on it you never feel more American. I hope this is made in the USA!! The color of the envelop is exactly what you expect. I highly recommend this item and I am sure you will not be disapointed. In addition the quality of the stock is second to none. If you have read this far you are really dedicated to your envelops. If you are the type that watches your pennies you will be happy to know this is the best deal on this type of envelop at Staples!

I distribute 60 + newsletters quarterly for a veterans organization. This product suits my needs. I do use adhesive tape to ensure closure before mailing.

The envelopes were exactly what I needed. I wish there was a little glue at the edges of the flap so the flap edges were glued down better. If the flap is not glued at the edges it doesn't always sit flat. Sometimes I have experienced on other envelopes not this type that the postal machines will catch the edges of the flap. I had one envelope returned to me because of this situation.

Mailing small items made easy.

Mailing small items in these clasp envelopes is a snap. They are much less expensive than padded envelopes. TIP: Save old padded envelopes and bubble wrap by reusing it to pad items sent in these clasp envelopes. It works fine. I have sent numerous small items through the mail without any problem.

There's nothing fancy-shmancy about these envelopes but they do a good job for shipping cds and other oddly shaped documents. I do appreciate that they don't tear easily and are not flimsy however these are plain envelopes and do not have any sort of padding so I wouldn't suggest putting anything more fragile than a compact disc in them to ship. They seal nicely but I wind up putting a little bit of tape across the metal tab for extra security. All in all this package is a good price for the amount of product.

GREAT FOR DAILY REGISTER / CREDIT CARD RECEIPTS...MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS : THEY COST ALMOST 3 TIMES AS MUCH AS THE 9"X12" ONES!!!...PROBABLY DO TO LACK OF PEOPLE USING THEM... WHCIH SHOULD REFLECT ON THE MATERIAL USED NOT JUST ON THEIR USE....
