Blue sponge failed after many successful years

I am 77 years old and have been using these sponges since they came on the market. And they were the best. However, the last packet I purchased was nothing like I've been used to - I thought I bought knock-off by accident, but I seen the name is as it should be.
I'm so disappointed - How could you turn a great product into something from the dollar store. The sponge is stiff and wears out fast.

No longer a good product!

I’ve purchased Scotch-brute for years and had no issues, but the new ones literally fall apart during use - little by little pieces fall off. They’re certainly not what they used to be - I won’t be paying the premium any longer for inferior products! My guess is that Scotch-brute has outsourced production to some podunk factory in China.

Quality had gone down

I have used these for years but the last batch I bought fall apart very quickly. The stiff scrubber becomes detached from the sponge within a few uses. Attached is a pic of a sponge I opened last week. I use these to wash dishes, no crazy heavy use. I am going to find a new brand, these are not what they used to be.

Product falls apart quickly now

I have used these for years but now the stiff scrubber part becomes unglued from the sponge within a few uses. These are NOT as good as they used to be. I will be switching to another brand.

Lousy product!

I have been purchasing the green and yellow sponges which have been great, but when I tried the zero scratch, the sponge part stared disintegrating after just a few uses! This is a terrible product plus tiny sponge pieces then go down the drain into th3 disposal.

Scotch-Brite Sponge - Very disappointed!

The product quality of the Scotch-Brite non-scratch scrub sponge has deteriorated. The scrubbing part detaches from the sponge after a few uses. They must have changed the adhesive. Very disappointing. I paid a premium for an inferior product. I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed

I have been using these sponges for years. I do not like the new redesigned sponge as it is thinner. Please bring the thicker version back if not as a replacement or an option to buy the thicker one.

Delamination

Like most folks in this review chain, I have been using these sponges for a long time. A typical sponge cycle in our goes from our kitchen sink for dis washing, to below the Sink for general house cleaning, to the basement for nasty cleaning. I use them in some way until they barely resemble the a sponge. Prior to this package delaminating, I don't think it would have been physically possible to separate the sponge layer from the abrasive layer without cutting it with a razor blade. Now, with the recent 9 pack, the sponge started to separate around the second cleaning. I could start to feel it peeling away with one of my fingers, and within 2-3 days, it was done. I have another 9 pack to go through, but I'm not expecting a return to past performance. Is this a production glitch, or is this what to expect going forward?
