Complete disappointment

If I could have given this product 0 stars I would have. This sponge does not even last 3 days let alone 3 weeks. It has shredded apart washing the simplest of items... children's drinking cups, Tupperware lids, children's plastic bibs, and plastic containers for example. Do not waste your money! The pictures attached shows the sponge that was just opened and used for the first time

Sponges fall Apart Quickly

I bought a 24 pack of Scotch-Brite Zero Scratch (3X Quicker and Stronger) sponges at Costco in CT recently. I have used 4 of the sponges so far. Within about three days, each sponge has started falling apart. Pieces of the sponge side start falling off as I use them. Within a few more days, so much of the sponge has fallen apart that I have to throw it out. I've been buying scotch-brite sponges for years and have never had this experience before. I use the sponges for dish washing and not anything heavy duty. I'm disappointed and I have 20 more sponges in the pack.

Scotch - Brite Zero Scratch Scrub Sponges Win Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of this product to evaluate. Scotch-Brite Zero Scratch Scrub Sponges definitely lived up to their name and claims of zero scratch when I used them on my T-Fal sauce pan. I used both the plain sponge side and the scrubber side and no scratches to the non stick interior! Loving them for several reasons! Easy to clean by sanitizing in your dishwasher, two sided, and durable. I can't wait to use them on my stove top, fridge, countertops, and bathroom surfaces as well. I can't find anything negative about these sponges. I believe this to be a good product from 3M.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inferior quality / sponges fall apart

We have been using the blue Scotch-Brite sponge for as long as I can remember, but in the past couple of purchases the sponge quality has been unacceptable. The sponge falls apart immediately - like, on the very first use! I thought I may have gotten a bad batch, but the next batch was exactly the same. Bits of sponge start flaking off and then bigger chunks of the sponge begin to fall off. I asked my sister in law and she said the same has been happening to her's as well. Scotch-Brite are more expensive than store brands, I should not be paying a premium for an inferior quality product. I'm constantly picking sponge bits out of everything.

They've changed

Ive been buying these for many many years and this last pack was awful !! The sponge is falling apart and Im constantly picking up little pieces... These use to last for Several weeks and would show no signs of falling apart. If the quality doesnt change for the better I will no longer buy these. I tried to add pictures but it wouldnt let me.

Where, Oh Where Are My Scotchbrite Sponges?

Substandard quality seems to be everywhere frustrating consumers, and your blue sponges have joined the others.
I have been a Scotch-Brite cellulose user for many decades. My most recent experiences with the blue sponges has been disappointing. They are overall much thinner, the blue scrubby side is now thicker but the actual sponge is much thinner than older generation of this sponge. The sponges now separate where they are glued together which was never a problem before. The new sponge will disintegrate quickly after just a few days of use, this was never an issue before butl it is the case now. Why don't you be the First multi-billion manufacturer to who returns to quality products.

Disappointed, but not surprised

Hey 3M. Start reading your reviews. Your sponges USED to provide value. If you squeeze out the water after each use you could get months of use BECAUSE THEY WOULD REMAIN INTACT. This is no longer the case. Now, they fall apart and crumble away into the sink strainer. Obviously you have changed the formula so they fall apart so we have to buy them more often. Someone at 3M decided that we should only get 3 weeks of use out of each sponge (as per a response from 3M to another review) and no more. Well...manufactured obsolescence has come to this trusted product and I will never buy them again, as you now can no longer be trusted to provide value for the extra money you charged.
p.s. This review does not allow anyone to select a "Zero" rating on the "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend Scotch-Brite™ Brand to a friend or colleague?" Even, though Zero is an option!! If one selects zero, the system does not allow you to submit. The lowest one can select is "1". What are you guys up to here?
