The item last for a long time and does exactly what it says: non-scratch. My pots and pans are clean without getting scratched no matter what I am cooking in them. I also use the sponges in my bathroom as well to clean my tub/shower and sink. There are no scratches there either. They last a long time, other sponges I am buying all the time but not with Scotch Brite. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. I have even used them at work, and they hold up in a food manufacturing environment as well.

non-scratch sponge

I use the non-scratch scrub sponge every day to do my dishes. I do not have a dishwasher, so I have truly become an expert on what works to get dishes the cleanest in the shortest amount of time, without doing damage to surfaces!
I use the soft side of the sponge to clean acrylics, such as pitchers and drinking cups.
The scrub sponge is far better than a dish brush because you can maneuver efficiently around the surfaces of dishes, large bowls and plates far easier, covering every square inch.
It is better than a dish cloth because it is a concentrated small size that you can apply pressure directly with, for example aroung the rim of drinking glasses and such, instead of having a floppy and uneven surface such as a dish cloth.
It is quick to turn the pad around for different duties, such as moving from an acrylic bowl with the sponge side to cleaning a teflon pan with the non-scrtach pad side.
Every day prior to using the pad, I get it wet and pop it into the microwave for a few minutes to completely sanitize the sponge. Be sure to place it in cool water before using to avoid a burn.
These sponges last and last, and save you the bother of having to change out dishcloths each day that harbor bacteria people seldon think about. It is easy to microwave the sponge and have a "brand new sponge" each day!

These are the only sponges I will buy. I have tried cheaper brands but I always regret after those dont hold up as well and I end up going back to 3M

Non-scratch pads

These do not scratch china, stoneware or glasses. They are great for getting stuck on cheese, dried gravies and such off your dishes. You know how cheese can gunk up the sponges. Well, these sponges clean out very well. Plus, I just found out that I can throw them in the microwave to help them dry out and not get that mildew smell. THey get into the rims of pots and pans very well, also. I am impressed by these. I'm trying out the other Scotch-Brite sponges because these have worked out so well for me.

These are the only sponges I like to use for my pots and pans, it cleans them thoroughly without scratching, everytime my husband shops he buys the wrong sponges, and I hate the results of the others.
