Great Safety Scissors for Little Hands
on July 19, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love these scissors! They are so easy to grip for little fingers that my almost 3 year old can use them (with supervision) during craft time with my almost 4 year old. The soft grip is very comfortable and makes it easier for them to cut for longer periods of time and I love that they come in sharp and blunt tip options. My kids love to cut and glue strips of paper together but have even asked to cut the grass with their new scissors haha. They love that they’re easy to use and I love that they’re safe for little hands. Such a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 kids (ages 4-6) gave these 5" Soft Grip Kids Scissors, Blunt Tip a test, and all of us were pleased! They were a perfect fit for little hands, and the grip was nice and soft. We are all rightys, but it's nice that these scissors fit either hand. The multi-pack was great, so everyone found a color they liked. I particularly liked the blunt tip to minimize the risk of accidents. We are going to be using these for a lot of projects!

Great kid scissors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scissors far surpass any other kids scissors we have bought or used. The soft grip makes the scissors much more sturdy and slip-resistant in their little hands. They are still new to using scissors (entering kindergarten and preschool) and they did much better with these ones than our previous safety scissors. They love to color and draw and cut their drawings out to make collages. They were able to complete their projects faster and more confidently with the help of these scissors. And they LOVE the bright colors!

Great kid scissor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While most safety scissors tend to tear paper instead of cutting it, these cut beautifully! I was able to have my kids test them on regular construction paper as well as use them at a “DIY Stickers” program at the library and they worked great for both! The only complaint we had was that the stickiness of the tape we used for the stickers definitely stuck to the scissor blades and needed to be cleaned between projects, but that happens with all scissors. My kids especially liked the color choices (one’s favorite color is yellow so they were happy to see that as an option)! And they all said the soft-grip handles were very comfortable to use. Would definitely purchase for back to school, or in bulk for classroom supplies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are perfect for little hands and work well with cardstock and regular paper. The bulk pack allows for each student to pick a differnt color and not arguing. The kid friendly colors also help to make them noticeable in a mountain of papers and scraps. They are sharp enough to cut thru 3 pieces of cardstock with ease and kid friendly enough to not cut a hand or finger while safely in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These 5-inch Soft Grip Kids Scissors are an excellent choice for children learning to cut. The blunt tips provide added safety, while the soft-grip handles are comfortable and easy for little hands to hold and control. This pack includes 24 brightly colored scissors that cut through paper, construction paper, thin cardboard, and yarn with ease, making them perfect for classroom crafts and art projects. They offer great quality and value, and I highly recommend them.

Solid first real scissors for little hands
on July 11, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6-year-old daughter has been dying to graduate from those flimsy plastic craft scissors, so these showed up at the perfect time. Overall impression: these are a great starter pair. The blunt tip gives me peace of mind, and they actually cut paper instead of just chewing on it like some kid scissors do.
The soft grip handles were the standout for us. My daughter tends to death-grip her scissors, and the cushioned handles made a real difference. No red marks on her fingers after a long craft session, and she could hold them longer without complaining that her hand hurt. They're also lightweight, which helps a smaller kid stay in control.
Project-wise, she put these through their paces. Cutting shapes out of construction paper, snipping coupons with me at the kitchen table, a paper snowflake phase that got a little out of hand, and trimming stickers for her sticker book. They handled single sheets and cardstock without a fight. If your kid is left-handed like mine sometimes pretends to be, they worked fine both ways.
What I liked most was the balance of safe and functional. A lot of "safety" scissors are so dull they frustrate kids into giving up. These were sharp enough to make clean cuts but blunt enough that I wasn't hovering the whole time.
One con: on thicker material like a folded stack of paper or a cereal box, they struggle. That's expected for kid scissors, but worth knowing if your kiddo likes bigger craft projects. Set expectations that these are for paper, not everything in the recycling bin.
Bottom line, easy recommend for early elementary crafters. Comfortable, safe, and they actually cut.
