Kindergarten scissors are easy to find but decent quality products are less easy to find. Excellent choice for kindergarten class use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased school supplies for a "Stuff the Bus" event in my local community, in which school supplies are donated to needy children. I took advantage of the Staples on-line back to school sale to purchase a lot of supplies for a nominal price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for kids of all sizes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids, aged 10 and 7, both loved these scissors. They were excited about all the color options and they each chose their favorite. They used the scissors to make photo collages and construction paper animals. The scissors cut well and were easy to use on both photo paper and construction paper. I asked how these scissors compared to their older safety scissors, and they both agreed that the soft-grip handles were more comfortable than their usual hard plastic handle scissors. I appreciate the blunt tip, easy cutting, and especially the fact that the handles feel better on their small hands. Overall we have only good things to say about these scissors, and will replace our old pairs with them. I’d recommend them for kids of all ages.

Perfect for little hands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These soft grip scissors with blunt tip are perfect for little crafters. My second grader tried them out on a craft making a baby deer out of colored instruction paper, cutting the face, ears and details and gluing them together. They are perfect for a second graders hands and I don’t have to worry about injury because they have a blunt tip. He’s able to use them safely even while unsupervised. He enjoys crafting at his desk and loves cutting out shapes.
He appreciated that they came in different colors and they were easy for him to hold and cut the shapes that he wanted for his craft project.
My other child, who is a little bit older, was able to use them successfully as well, although I do think they are better suited for ages 4 to 10. She is left-handed and had no problem using them with her left hand. She was able to cut string for her beaded bracelets and because they have a blunt tip, I don’t mind if she brings them room to room as she works on her bracelets. It’s preferable over something with a very sharp and pointy tip.
Having scissors that can accommodate both right and left-handed children is a positive because we don’t have to buy multiple pairs of scissors to accommodate different dominant hands.
I think these are great to have for a little crafters at home and they would be really nice in the classroom setting.

Great for older kids who need safety scissors
on July 20, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an occupational therapist working on fine motor skills at a special needs school, I'm always hunting for scissors that split the difference between "safe" and "not babyish." These nailed it. My students are middle-school aged, so a lot of safety scissors feel too small or juvenile for them, but the length and finger holes here are sized right for older kids, while the blunt tips still give me the safety margin I need.
The soft grip handles were a highlight. Several of my kiddos have grip weakness or sensory sensitivities, and the rubberized grip gave them enough traction to cut with control rather than fighting the scissors, comfortable even through longer cutting sessions. They also worked well for both my left- and right-handed students, which isn't always a given with kids' scissors.
We used them for cut-and-paste summer projects; collage work, cutting shapes, general craft prep. The color options were a nice touch for letting kids pick their own pair.
Overall: comfortable, right-sized for an older population, and genuinely useful in a therapy/classroom setting. Highly recommend for anyone working with older kids who still need blunt-tip safety scissors.

Exceptional Kid Scissors
on July 20, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Immediately upon opening the box of scissors I was relieved. I know, I know, they’re just kid scissors. But if anyone knows kids, they’re either very insistent upon using their favorite color or using the same color as the next kid. This box relieved any conflict that could possibly occur from the get go! The multiple color choices, the blunt tips, the ACTUAL soft grip and the smooooth cut made these scissors not only easy to use for my 3 and 5 year old kids, but for myself as well. To quote myself upon my initial use, “wow! These are so smooth!” Haha! And off to the races we went! Practice with cutting hand control and crafting! These are definitely superior to other big name brands and an easy choice to choose over others. Enjoy your crafting from beginning to end!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really liked these safety scissors! They were super easy to use and a great way for our little one to practice safe cutting skills. The soft grip was our favorite feature. We used them for so many different crafts and they worked with different types of papers and materials.
We also ended up sharing the scissors with our daycares and the teachers told us that the kids all loved them and they use them regularly for all different types of arts and craft projects.

Solid Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid set of scissors for a group of younger kids. The box says it’s for children age 4 and up. My son is 2.5 years old and they seem to fit his hand okay. He could use them now, but he also could grow into them. The scissors were surprisingly somewhat comfortable in my hand too and my glove size is large. The sizing for the scissors is pretty perfect because they do fit a wide range of hand sizes. When helping my son with a craft, I often end up using kid scissors too. It’s nice that the scissors don’t make my hands cramp up. The handle shape, size and soft grip material make the scissors pleasant to use, even for an adult. I also appreciate that the scissors work for right and left-handed kids because it’s one less thing to worry about. I can share the scissors with a group of kids without wondering if someone will feel left out.
The scissors do feel safe to me. They are sharp enough to cut paper, but the blunt tip prevents any major concerns about accidents happening. The scissors are safe without compromising their ability to cut.
The set includes a fun set of colors. My son was very excited about using pink scissors. He loves color and it’s the first thing he noticed about the scissors.
Because my son is only 2.5, we mostly just used the scissors to practice cutting skills. He is still getting used to holding scissors properly. While these scissors are great for the intended age of 4+ years, they were a little advanced for my son. He would probably do better with spring-loaded scissors made of plastic at this point. I can definitely see him growing into these scissors though. If these were the only scissors he had access to, I think they would work just fine for us.
Overall, this is a great set of scissors. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a set of scissors for a group of preschool or early elementary-age children.
