Loved the color and helped me be Green!

Purchased to use as collection envelopes for our school's Read-a-Thon. Colored and white papers contrasted great with the color of the envelope. I have to admit I purchased them just for the distinctive color - they won't get lost is a sea of other school papers letters and mail but it really felt great to use recycled materials and know I was doing a good thing for our planet. Cost was minimally more than the plain non-recycled.

Somewhat flimsy

The envelopes feel very flimsy and I'm quite concerned that they will fall apart with the contents coming out of the envelope. When you lick the envelope to seal it it seems as if the envelope is sucking up the moisture like a paper towel. It is a little too thin.

Rips very easily does not easily hold regular sized paper if it is a stack of more than 20 sheets or so.

These envelopes are dark in color somewhat hard to write upon and be able to read it. I used printed labels to get around this.
