I'm Diggin' Earthy Envelopes!

I picked up these Sustainable Earth Envelopes in order to have a shipping envelope for media mail. They work beautifully. I would recommend Staples and this product to any of my friends. When I compared price on the Sustainable Earth envelopes compared to the standard manila colored envelope that I once used the price was actually lower for the Sustainable Earth and the package allowed for a more attractive number of envelopes in the Sustainable Earth packaging. I can find no down side to using the Sustainable Earth envelopes.

Good value

These envelopes are not really meant for mailing but with light small flat items the envelope can be folded down over itself and then I tape the sides to reinforce and keep them down. This doubled thickness makes them adequate for mailing. Otherwise I think they are only good for very short-term storage of papers (the back seams open up frequently and they tear easily.) I would only recommend them if you are willing to take extra steps to use them.

I've needed this size envelope for some time for my small business but couldn't afford to buy a box of 100 of the white envelopes in this size at my local office supply store. I was out of my usual shopping area when I ventured into Staples & found these awesome envelopes! "Green" which is important to me and even more importantly much more economical!!! I saved a bunch!!

These are sold at a fantastic price! If there was a no-clasp option with only a sealer they'd be perfect! Well worth the money if you need a great product at an amazing price!

Price doubled in a week!

These envelopes were already expensive at $9 a box. Now they cost $15 in a one week price hike. I can't afford them at Staples anymore. I have moved to an alternative supplier.

Just OK. Not as heavy/tough as I was expecting. Tear fairly easy and not as much room as I would like. If they were about 1/2" wider it would help a lot. Most of the time I have to double up to get the stability I'm looking for. Great Value even with using two.
