I love the results I get from using Dobie whenever my husband cooks scrambled eggs too long and it leaves a residue sticking to the pan. The Dobie always cleans it off without scratching my pan.
I love my long-lasting, hard working Dobie sponges! I liked them so much, I even gave them as stocking stuffers for my grown children! They loved them to! Anything that is "stuck on" becomes "unstuck". I use it on my counters and appliances and regular dishes. Let's face it, we don't always get to a spill immediately and when we don't, we have a friend in the Dobie sponge!
I have used the dobie pad for over 20 years, I can use from cleaning the stove, dishes, scrubbing the sinks and tubs and not worry that it will damage anything. It dries quickly and you never feel like its full of germs. Its easy to handle. My husband whom rarely helps out has now to become addicted to the dobie pad.
I have been using Dobie pads for years and would not use any other pad for my non-stick cookware. After I have worn out the one in the kitchen my husband then uses them in the garage.
I first heard about Dobie Pads when in High School. I was enrolled in Vocational/Technical school and had chosen the Cook/Chef Program. Our Teacher was an actual Executive Chef and he outfitted our section as he would a Commercial Kitchen, down to insisting on Dobie Pads. I remembered how well they worked in 1980/1981 and started buying them when I became a homeowner, myself. Outstanding performance and inexpensive enough to not worry when you've worn one out...pitch it!
I first started using these when I worked in Alaska on the fishing boats. They were amazing. They don't break down and they are just the right size. Believe me, I washed a lot of things with these and not just dishes. That was back in 1988 and I am still using these to this day. I am never without one. Don't ever quit making them.
