Bring Quality Back!

I've been using Dobie pads for decades and have always loved them. It's apparent that you recently changed the manufacture and they are simply AWFUL now! I've gone through two boxes of 3, thinking that maybe they weren't all defective...but sadly not the case. They get a hole after a few days of normal dish washing and then the hole just grows,
rendering them useless. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD DOBIE PADS that we all love!

Definite change in quality of product

I am another customer that has used Dobie sponges for decades. They barely last a few cleanings before beginning to tear. My pattern of cleaning has not changed, so I look to you for answers as to why they don't last any longer.

I have been using the Dobie pads for many years, but now they develop holes within a short period of time. What gives? Are there different manufacturing centers that might account for the differences in the product? Very disappointing as now I need to find a better quality product.

I want to echo previous comments about the “current” donor pad. Not only have I been a user but I worked for a wholesaler in New Jersey and sold Dobie for 35 years. For the past 6-8 months the product I have purchased in South Carolina is inferior to the product I sold and used for years. It lasts maybe a week being used simply to scrub pots and pans with Barkeepers Friend as I have for years.

Product quality has gone way down

I have been a loyal customer for years but over the last few months noticed the scrubbing pads only last about a week (if that) before the outside mesh falls apart. At first I thought it was a fluke, but after trying several different scrubbers, I can see this is clearly not the same quality product I had been purchasing over the years. What happened, 3M? Sadly, I will be looking for another product - won't buy this again.

Not holding up like they used to!!

I have been purchasing Dobies for many many years. They now start tearing up almost immediately. Also having problems finding them in the stores.

Where is the Dobie Pad you USED TO make?

I must agree with many recent reviews. My family has used Dobie Pads for more than 50 years. Until some time recently, the pads lasted many weeks. Now I find that most pads develop holes in the mesh on the first use of the pad. I am very careful when cleaning knives or forks, so I assume this issue is due to a less resistant material being used for the mesh. Please return to the pads you used to make, or I will be forced to find another product.
