Not as good as they used to be.

I have used these pads since I first started washing dishes. It is my go to pad. The last two boxes I have purchased fall apart on the first wash. I am not sure if they have changed the way they make these but the do not hold up like they used to.

Great all-purpose cleaning pads

I have been using Scotch-Brite Dobie pads for 20 years. They are safe to use on my nonstick skillets and sauce pans. I also use them to scrub the shower and tub. I've had no trouble with mine falling apart, and I typically switch them out once a month. I do not care for the colored pads--yellow is all I want. Thanks so much.

I saw the Dobie in a review on today's American Test Kitchen (4-25-2020). I really like the non=scratch feature of the pad. Even when I get a sticky pot or dish, the pad gets the job done and I can easily wash out the residue. When needed, the pad comes clean in the washing machine. Finally. when the pad nears the end of its cycle, I can use it in the shower area without fear of scratching. They missed the mark in their rating. Keep up the good work.

I am 59 years old and have been using Dobie Pads since my early teens.
For some reason they have not been holding up like they used to.
Something has changed and I really feel like it is intentional. They want us to purchase them more frequently.
Disappointed about being "had".

Poor Quality

I've been a faithful customer for years, but lately the quality has really gone downhill. I seriously had one pad last one day before it ripped! I called and complained, will get replacement, but if it keeps happening I will never purchase again. Seems like they changed the material. It's thinner and more open weaved. Poor Quality now.

In the past this product has been excellent, no more! My Dobie disintegrated the first time I used it. Was cleaning my non stick stove top grill, nothing heavy duty. Guess I’ll be changing brands.

I rarely write reviews for products, but I've been so disappointed with the Dobie pad over the last few months, that I decided to contact you about the product. I was very surprised that I'm not the first one to write about the mesh that falls apart after only a few uses!!!
My mom used Dobie for years while I was growing up, in fact I can't remember her using anything else! I have now been a loyal user of the Dobie pad for at least 20 years, and have never had any issues with it. It has always been a good solid, dependable cleaning and scouring pad. Sure, after months of use it would slowly become stained or a small hole would start, but it would, truly, last for 4-6 months. Putting it in the dishwasher didn't hurt it either. Now, I can't go a week without getting a hole in the mesh.
I'm so disappointed and hope that you can re-work the mesh to what it used to be. Otherwise I'll need to find another cleaning pad that is up to the challenge.

I have been using Dobie pads for years, loved them. One would last several weeks or months with intermittent cleaning. Now I go through one a week, the mesh covering just designates. I think your quality control is out of control.
