Don’t buy this unless you want to have little divots under your wheels after just one use. It is already hard to really roll around to begin with and the wheel wells just exacerbate this. I have used carpet mats many times and I know how smooth it’s supposed to feel when rolling around - this does not.

My wife loves this large chair mat. It is great for her corner sewing desk. She can easily roll between her machines without the wheels falling off the edge of the mat. We were a little concerned that having short "nubs" instead of full spikes on the underside would allow the mat to shift around on the carpet but that has not happened. It stays right in place. Would definitely recommend it. Delivery was a little weird. It was simply dropped off and we found it outside on the driveway near the house starting to "unroll" (Aug 2020 in the Pacific NW). As others have commented on rolled up heavy duty mats like this after taking it inside it took about 16 hours for the mat to completely flatten out before use and no rushing it.
This mat is just what I was looking shape wise size is perfect for my application. The thickness/bendability of the material is not what I was hoping for. It is rated for Medium Pile carpet which I have but it dents with just my chair weight and nothing in the chair. In my opinion it is really only suitable for a very short pile with no carpet mat underneath. It arrived rolled and taped. It must have been stored that way for a long time as it took a serious chemical to get the tape residue off the mat.
May was rolled for easier delivery but straightened without a problem. I did put it in the driveway to warm It up. Overall it’s as described. Could be thicker (dimples when sitting in a chair but can still roll easy enough)
This is a mat that fits perfectly into the space for a five-sided corner desk. The desk is 4 feet on two sides and 26 inches on two other sides with a curved seating area about 33 inches. (It's a Bush corner desk which Staples also sells.) The square protrusion fits between the legs of the desk well. The mat is thick and seems to do reasonably well on my carpet that is medium pile although it has developed several small divots from the chair wheels. I would not use this on a really thick carpet. I do wish they made a version for a very thick carpet as I think that would hold up even better. It is doing much better than the floor mat I had before which was for a low-pile office carpet. That mat developed many cracks after 2 months. This mat is doing much better.
