you weigh 210 or more. That is my weight and this mat leaves indentations that are difficult to get out of. I used the mat for 1 day. My carpet is barely medium pile in my home office. I'm not sure how low your weight has to be to not leave indentations. ALSO...my first purchase never arrived. The second delivery came unboxed and unprotected. Thankfully it was not raining that day. Now I am trying to return it and no one has come to pick it up after the 5 business day window. Ugh.

I inherited the same mat and it was cracked pretty bad so I ordered the same one to replace. It looks nicer but it doesn't really function as well as I hoped for being brand new. My wheels get stuck in ruts and makes it hard to move. I think for the price it should have been made thicker. Having buyer's remorse.

I bought this for carpeted office area. After first hours of use already dented and chair wheels stick in the ruts. Might be good for very low pile but not medium as described.
