The flare shape fits perfectly under my desk and yet is wide enough for me to roll my chair backwards and to the side without falling off the pad. All chair pads should be this style!!!!!

you weigh 210 or more. That is my weight and this mat leaves indentations that are difficult to get out of. I used the mat for 1 day. My carpet is barely medium pile in my home office. I'm not sure how low your weight has to be to not leave indentations. ALSO...my first purchase never arrived. The second delivery came unboxed and unprotected. Thankfully it was not raining that day. Now I am trying to return it and no one has come to pick it up after the 5 business day window. Ugh.

This chairmat is exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly within the space created by my L-shaped workstation. The mat is heavy enough to stay in place and protect my carpet. I am very pleased with the product. Make sure you request that the product be delivered "flat." My first mat was delivered rolled up and secured with packing tape that left a very sticky residue. I could not remove the residue and had to re-order the mat. Also wash the mat before installing in your room. It was very dusty when delivered.

The mat was folded in half when delivered. It was was not wrapped in any cardboard or any other type of protectant.. If the mat was thicker or made of a harder plastic it would have broke. Now I have a permanent crease in the product. The product is very thin and made from a soft plastic. As you sit in the chair the wheels sink into the soft plastic. The size was correct.

The mat is a perfect shape and size. Did not see this mat at any other vendor. The price was quite good especially with a $15 rebate. The delivery was outstanding. The delivery man brought the mat into our house and installed it. The mat was clumsy to hold and his assistance was very much appreciated. (My wife and I are in our 80s.) Staples did a great job on all counts. .
