This chair mat is very decent for its price. Although my carpet is a little thicker than "medium pile " using the chair mat will help to save my carpet from complete ruin from rolling around in my chair. The wheels of my chair sink into the mat and make temporary indentions making it a little difficult to easily roll around but I believe my carpet is a little too thick for this mat and that is why this is happening. If you have a thinner carpet/padding in your home I am sure this mat would be ideal. It is very nice no weird plastic odor nice clear color and arrived the very next day hand delivered to my door. Remember to let it acclimate to your home's room temperature for 24-48 hours before unrolling or using it as it may crack. If properly cared for from the beginning I believe this mat will last quite a while. I would definitely recommend it and would purchase again if need be.

This fits nicely for a corner desk. It's a little bigger than I needed but is fine. I would love this to be offered in a smaller size for smaller corner desks.
