Met My Needs Perfectly

This odd looking floor mat is exactly what I was looking for to place under my desk. It fit / works perfect protecting the rug and allowing my chair to roll around instead of getting stuck and then nearly tipping over. I am very very pleased with the product and certainly order with Staples again in the future.

Not cut to proper uniform shape

Like all others my L-shaped desk forms a 90 degree angle in the corner where the chair slides under. My previous Staples mat fit perfectly against the sides of the desk on the straight edges and the rounded bottom of the "beaker" shape creating a smooth arc from corner to corner. The straight sides of the new model do NOT form a 90 degree angle. Where the straight edges touch the desk outside corners at the rounded bottom there is then an increasing gap on both sides of 0.5" - 1.0" by the spot of the inside corners. The straight edges are not cut straight at all. They are cut at an increasing angle which causes the gap at the narrowest point when the widest point is at contact with the desk. Makes it all look defective and also creates tiny carpet strips that cannot be vacuumed normally. Hopefully this one will last as long as the previous mat. If it doesn't then will be the last one purchased from Staples.

We do NOT like. it took only two or three times for a 140# person to sit in a rolling desk chair to dent the plastic. Why should I have to buy a $200plus chair mat to get a good product. Very disappointed.

I've made the mistake of trying to go cheaper and getting the normal mat. This corner mat fits perfectly and looks great.
