The shape and size are great but the mat does tend to move in a med pile carpet. the tabs to hold the carpet seem more for a low pile.

Don’t buy this unless you want to have little divots under your wheels after just one use. It is already hard to really roll around to begin with and the wheel wells just exacerbate this. I have used carpet mats many times and I know how smooth it’s supposed to feel when rolling around - this does not.

My old chair mat was wearing out so needed a new one. I bought a corner desk and the old square shape didn't work very well. This is nice and large and works great with my corner desk. My chair doesn't constantly drop a wheel off the side of the floor mat anymore.
