Carpet Chair Mat Moves

I decided to try one of these plastic mats after being disappointed with the cracking and movement of the one I had 10 years ago. This one fits the corner space nicely. However as I roll back and forth on my desk chair on it it migrates and does not stay in place. This is annoying and could damage my desk if I don't move it when it is up against it and buckling. As far as durability (and cracking) time will tell. For the price it ought not to crack and it ought to hold in place on my carpet.

Too thin and breaks

I purchased my first of these mats 2 years ago. A year later it was broken and had a hole in it. I thought something out of character happened so I purchased another one. Now the second one has a hole in it and is broken. At [$] per year I'm ready to look for a different kind of mat. I'm very disappointed.

Very Large Chair Mat

I admit that I did not realize how large this chair mat is even though the dimensions are in the description. I was ordering a chair mat for a home office and this was just much too large for that application. It was very sturdy though and I believe would have been ideal in a larger office. It was very heavy and difficult to move because it didn't really fold up and would not fit in my car to return it. I had to put it in the bed of a pickup truck to get it back to the store. I wound up exchanging it for a smaller more portable chair mat.
