I prefer the manila file jackets from Smead but for some reason they are getting harder and harder to find. These are the only legal size jackets I could find and they are flimsy the "reinforced back tab" is not securely glued down and papers get stuck.

This is a good jacket folder if you're not going to handle it too much. It's about half the weight of a Smead jacket.

I like these file jackets because they are thin and I can get more files in my filing cabinet.
Good quality at a reasonable price. Just what I needed.

flimsy imitation of Smead product

Staples used to sell Smead file jackets--but they are now no longer available. This Staples brand product is not well glued on the sides all-in-all feels of lighter construction. Many of them fell apart on one side. Because our office needs to keep records filed in these jackets for several years as well as everyday use they must hold up under normal wear and tear--which they don't. Staples please bring back the Smead ones as a choice and keep your loyal customers satisfied. :-)
