Flat manilla file jackets save a lot of filing space

For lighter weight contents we use the manilla flat file jackets to store important documents. For bulkier contents like multiple magazines or journals then we get the expanding manilla file jackets.
This was just the right folder for a program we implemented. We needed it to hold about 6 fairly flat documents and it did the job perfectly. The program participants were able to keep the program documents organized and take the folders with them.
GREAT FILE JACKETS THE FIELD CREW ONLY USES THESE BECAUSE THEY HOLD UP THE BEST

Wow...... these are very flimsy folders....... not like previous years. Way too expensive for the inferior quality. We won't order these ever again. What happened Staples? Still charging top dollar but the quality has diminished. Sad and pathetic that you no longer have much quality control over all of your products. We normally buy all of our office supplies at Staples but the quality as gone down dramatically on most items recently. Even our desk chairs only lasted 1 year before falling apart. Time to shop elsewhere.

These file jackets are a good bang for your buck. They are made well and stand up to quite a good deal of abuse. I have been using them for the last five years in filing cabinets where they are handled often usually getting filed and removed on a daily basis and I have not yet had to replace a single one! There is plenty of room for writing or labeling across the reinforced tab and plenty of room for storing mulitple sheets of paper inside. I would guess you could comfortably fit about 60 pages inside without it being too bulky or needing to upgrade to an expandable style jacket.

These are great for real estate files. Plenty of room to write important information on the outside.Better thatn using the colorful free ones you get at title companies. The free ones don't have much space to write on. I had a flood in the house and all of the information in these jackets were preserved even the the busines boxes collapsed. I also use them for all personal tax files etc since they are very durable and appear to be water proof.
I prefer the name brand Mead for these file jackets but they have disappeared from the the market. I have been using the Staples brand for over a year and they serve their purpose but not without incident. The "reinforced" tab is doubled over but does not stay glued down. The resulting lip gets caught on the outer tab or the papers inside.
