These envelopes are used in our office for payroll purpose only. We have tried many kinds from many places and these are much suitable for our needs. We have tried the window envelopes that you have to lick or wet to seal and a lot of the times the glue will not stick either becausethe envelop has gotten hot and the glue is gummy or when it did get hot and then cold it just want stick. With these self-sealing envelopes we have not had any issues. You just peel fold and stick. This envelop couldn't be any more perfect.

No need to peel off a strip to seal!

This makes doing bulk mailings more efficient and not having a peel-to-seal strip means there is no waste!

Good Product for price

The box the envelpoes are in is a bit flimsy. (I put the stuffed and sealed envelopes back into the box to post normally but this box falls apart if you try that). The envelopes themselves are great for the price -no show-through easy to seal.

Nice Envelopes but Can't Print on them

These are fairly nice envelopes. The sealing is quick and easy no need to tear off strips like other envelopes. The main drawback of these envelopes is that you can't print a return address on them because the window shrinks in a laser printer. I have to buy labels then print them then adhere them to the envelope.

Self seal does not stick

These are worthless - the seal dose not stick and we need to use tape to close them. I am surprised Staples sells such poor quality products as this.

The envelope is ok not the best quality or easy insertion. The Staples self stick in the box of 100 envelopes is much better quality and easier to work with. The self stick portion is quite ok but having to fold the flap down creates extra steps when stuffing a large quantity of envelopes. The paper quality is good and the window works well for address positioning. A good product for the money and it arrived when is should have and during working hours. The envelope over all could be better quality and the envelope with the single strip is a much friendlier product for a mailing.
