We've been purchasing these envelopes for over 15 years. This is the first time we've had a problem with them. We needed them so we couldn't send the box back but we're not happy about so many being stuck together.

The envelopes have a perforated seam under the flap that you fold up and a lot of the envelopes it breaks apart when you seal the envelope. We have had to put tape over the perforation to keep the envelope from being open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality has diminished with my current order. Paper weight has been reduced to the point the envelopes has become quite flimsy.

I have ordered these before and they were fine. I am a Quickbooks user and this batch the window no longer lines up to show my addresses that are printed on my checks. I have to fold the checks under to make sure they show out the window. They also do not seem to seal as well. They come back open if I don't seal them multiple times and put them under a lot of pressure.

The self-sealing flap does not stick/seal . I end up having to tape shut every single time. I would have returned but I needed to use them straight away so I am stuck. Buy something else.

These are worthless - the seal dose not stick and we need to use tape to close them. I am surprised Staples sells such poor quality products as this.
