I would not buy this product again!!!

We are a dental office and have to abide by HIPPA rules - unfortunately this envelope can be sealed reopened and sealed again without any notable evidence. Therefore it does not meet HIPPA standards. I asked if there were any other left window security tint self sealing envelopes and was told there were not. The appropriate envelope is available from other office supply stores.

my overall experience with Staples products is very good. However the quality of these self-sealing envelopes is lacking. There is a flimsiness to the envelope and the inserted paper catches sometimes on the plastice window. There were too many spoiled envelopes due to the machines flipping part of the adhesive flap rendering the envelope unusable. I had to do my own quality assurance looking at each enevelope within a box of 500. I called the number on the packing slip and spoke to the representative advising about my issues. The rep was courteous and I encouraged them to have the machinery cleaned and adjusted. I also advised that the entire batch of envelopes needed quality assurance. In kindness to me I received a $10 gift certificate to use the next time I shopped at Staples. Service was very good at the call center.

Worked fin for first hundred or so but last run had major jamming. I usually make short print runs of 25-50 envelopes with return logo/addy. Using an Epson WP-4530. Not sure why it quit feeding them periodically. Your experience may vary.

Decline in Quality

I've used this product exclusively for 4 years. I've seen a steady decline in the quality over the last 18 months. These issues have been relatively minor but each box seemed to have its own problem. Today I open a box of 500 and 60 of them are already sealed tight. This used to be a quality product.

Works fine. The adhesive seem to work well. Seems a little thin like it could easily tear.
