this is a sturdy product - i just wish it would tear a bit easier i really have to work it just right. it's just a bit awkward to use.

The screw on the handle keeps coming loose and I have to retighten it. Also the time flys out of the dispenser at times. Not very secure.

it was to be used to tape moving boxes. it was easier to use the roll of tape than use the tape thing

I have a lot of boxes to tape since I am using it to tape all my boxes for me to move. It makes the job quick and easy to do. Thank you Staples for providing this quality product to use at home.

the product works similarly with other tape guns; the padding is good but slightly bulky; the tape gets stuck to the metal baseplate

Tape sticks to the metal tongue or stop when operating. Tension adjustment knob is hard to set and slips and does not apply uniform pressure. Poor construction.

Requires too much hand & wrist strength

I found this tape dispenser more difficult to use than the one that comes free with a roll of packing tape. It requires great hand and wrist strength. It is heavy and has a bulky handle. A man with large strong hands probably wouldn't have difficulty. Also tape sticks to everything it touches when you set the dispenser down. It should have some sort of shield like the cutting edge has a shield.
