No directions on pkg so I went back to Staples for instructions by salesperson. He had trouble also but worse of all after he got it going I still can't use it & the tape hangs & sticks to everything else it lays next to. I hate this gizmo

The blade that cuts the tape is not sharp. I bought this because it was cheaper than the competition. I shoulda spent the extra few bux to get something that will actually cut!
