The employees at the Staples in Fairfax have been so helpful and nice every time we have been. We were getting quite a few moving boxes and one of the young men asked if he could carry them up front and set them at the cash register until we were ready to check out. Wonderful and helpful when you have a good bit of things in your cart. The manager and cashier are also very cheerful and nice making you feel like no question is a silly one.

Nice padded grip and the tape cutter works well. But more often than not after cutting you will need to re-position the tape because the small sprung metal tape holder is so loose that it does not hold the tape in postion against the plastic wheel.

Tape Dispenser isn't for Lefties

Holds easily but getting the sticky tape through the slot is a major challenge! However it may be an acquired skill and the thing is designed for right-handed people and I'm a lefty! Frustrating! I'd probably recommend it only for right handed people. Maybe you could consider producing a reverse one and market it through the Left Handed networks as well as instore!

This packing tape dispenser is a great help. I wish I had purchased it last year when we packed for a household move. Saves a lot of time and energy.

If you use a lot of thick tape or shipping and packaging you should use a heavy duty tape dispenser like this one. This one is capable of holding Staple's largest tape rolls. The light plastc dispensers are not able to use the largest tape rolls. I used to use the red plastc rolls to save money. However I needed to hold the larger tape rolls so I bought this. The dispenser makes taping up boxes much easier. You can use one hand easily to tape things up. The grip is soft so it is not difficult to hold. For heavy duty jobs this tape dispenser is recommended.
I have seen comments on tape guns like this saying the tape gun doesn't cut the tape. Initially I found that true for this one also: instead of cutting the tape it would just let out another foot or two. The tape would also fall off the holder. Two fixes: 1. Tightening the the tension adjustment solved the problem with not cutting tape. It takes significant hand and arm strength but works fine. 2. A couple wraps of cloth gaffers tape around the tape holder keeps the tape spool on the holder more securely. Duct tape would probably also work well but I think the gaffers tape works well at least in part because it isn't slippery - grips the spool well.
