I'm not a big fan of these tape dispensers and this one fits right in with my opinion on them. The tape doesn't always tear easily and this doesn't seem to be a high quality product; however it does the job most of the time.

Needed to pack about 40 boxes. This made the tapping very easy and required just one hand.

The tape sticks to the roller making it very sticky. Although it could have been the Staples Brand Tape too.

I am going to return this dispenser

The problem is the metal strip sticks to the tape and it is very very difficult to release the tape again to use. Then it sticks again. Very frustrating. I have it in my car to return next time I am near Staples. The handle is very nice and comfortable.

Not easy to use due to metal piece under roller that grabs the tape alot so you have to stop and unstick tape. Also slows you down when working and wastes tape.

Easy as pie glide

I have bought many tape dispensers. This one is not heavy bulky like the others. The dispenser glides easier than others I have tried. It is durable in spite of its lighter weight. Easy to use light weight durable.

Most difficult 2" dispenser I have used

I have owned and used some half dozen 2" tape dispensers. This model does not want to cooperate with me. The tape sticks to itself frequently but the worst problem is that it sticks to the silver metal piece and has to be ripped from it using both hands to get the tape started. This results in torn tape wrinkled tape wasted tape and tape not being applied to where it should go............on the box!! I ordered a cheaper replacement from Staples that had better reviews.
