not happy with this dispenser

i bought a new dispenser because my old was not cutting the tape properly this new one is not much better....

Typical poorly engineered tape dispenser. The tape sticks to the tongue applied to the box after pulling the tape and lifting to cut it off. It then won't dispense on the next pull because the tape is now stuck to the tongue.because the tape is now stuck to the tongue. I'm in the racing industry and I'm so disappointed with everybody's that I've tried that I think I'm gonna make my own because I can see the obvious design flaws.

Ok but no instructions for tape install

I haven't used these before so it's difficult to compare. It did not come with instructions and was not easy trying to figure out how to install the tape. I had to google it. Seems to work ok. Used it to package up a box for shipping. Tape wasn't very smooth but that could be the user.

This is not suitable for reinforced strapping tape the cutting edge is too coarse.

Great for moving

Moving into out first home and have accumulated many items that need to be packed. Went through the whole tape roll because of.so many boxes. Product never failed or jammed. Very easy to use and easy to reload tape roll. Inexpensive and worth every penny. Great product.

Love it after misplacing my old tape dispenser while moving. Glad I lost it because this one is easy to use and always ready (without the tape all a-kilter)!!

The problem is the metal strip sticks to the tape and it is very very difficult to release the tape again to use. Then it sticks again. Very frustrating. I have it in my car to return next time I am near Staples. The handle is very nice and comfortable.

This thing was a total waste of money and time too because I plan on returning it. The little plastic temporary ones that come with the cheaper tape work better!
