Difficult to apply tape because it gets stuck on the metal tongue along the (non-)glide path and very awkward to engage the cutting blade safely.

Wastes tape

The metal part that keeps the tape in place causes the tape to get stuck on it all the time. I have wasted a great deal of tape because once it sticks to the metal I have to rip it off and start over.

I do a lot of shipping. After some time my hand started to hurt when using some other dispenser. The staples comfort grip is a nice cushion that feels nice in your hand. Its wide enough to hold without a tight grip and the material makes the holding it more comfortable. I recommend this dispenser if your looking for something reasonable priced and need something that does what is says.

I have used these in the past and am a bit disappointed in this one. I do love the soft grip but once pulling the tape out it won't cut right. The blades are a bit dull and it wads up when I try to fix it sticking to the plate.
