There are no instructions on how to load the tape or use the despenser. The tape gets stuck on the metal tongue under the roller making it hard to pull to despence. At one point the tape got stuck and I pulled the tape to feed it thru and The tape roll slipped off onto the floor and I had a twisted tape mess. We have a tape despenser at work and it is not as difficult to use as this one is. I purchased this so I can tape boxes to for our move to a new home.
I got this in preparation for a move so there was lots of packing boxes. Despite reading the directions thoroughly I was never able to get it to work very well. I basically needed to re thread the tape every time. I found it much less effective than using a normal packing tape roll. Would not recommend.
I bought a tape dispenser that had a safety feature a flap that you had to push back in order to get the tape to the cutter and it was a pain in the neck so this one is perfect it cuts just where you want it and you don’t have to fight with it.

Not easy to use due to metal piece under roller that grabs the tape alot so you have to stop and unstick tape. Also slows you down when working and wastes tape.
I had a different tape gun that I loved but couldn't find it. Bought this in a pinch as I was moving and needed it for packing. I bet I spent more time trying to fix the tape to roll through properly. I wasted a ton of tape and was extremely frustrated by how much time I had to deal with fixing it. Next time I'll buy an industrial brand.
