I have a 3m tape gun it works fine. This staples model however is near impossible to use even after attempting to tune the tension. It's hard to feed the tape in and really hard to cut the tape. You have to have the perfect angle to cut the tape it takes a twist of the wrist with just the perfect amount of force. Terrible. Almost easier to just use the bare spool of tape.

I like the blade safety latch. You need to work on the tape sticking ot the metal lever. Thisaffects the rolling of thetape as well.

We use this product in our office almost daily. It is one of the best we have ever had. It helps us to secure packages with ease. Our last tape dispenser (different brand) would frequently get the tape stuck while in use. This dispenser never seems to have that problem. It is a much better dispenser. I would absolutely recommend this dispenser to anyone. In fact I recomended this dispenser to my girlfriend who is moving to Colorado just the other day. She wanted to borrow mine but I can't loan it out. So I told her where to buy one.

I understand that the blade cover on this tape dispenser is for safety but it makes cutting the tape very difficult. I wish I had known this before buying it.

It does not cut the tape as it is designed. I had to get my knife out. I will likely make some adjustments on it but from the store I have had issues with it.
