At work a good tape gun is indespensible. If I'm not using it a co-worker is looking to borrow it. It helps make quick work of getting things organized or shipped.

When it works the dispenser does what it supposed to. Unfortunately it's inconsistent when cutting the tape. Sometimes it will cut sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't you're left with an extra foot of tape you don't need and a sticky mess. Funny thing is I had a more expensive scotch dispenser and basically did the same thing. Maybe tape dispenser design might need updating.

Somehow my tape dispensers keep falling apart - screws come loose and get lost. So I went the EASY route and got this one from Staples and it works okay -- just like they always do. I like the foam handle but I'm in a Home Office not a shipping department so it doesn't matter. This one has only two screws to lose -- maybe I've learned my lesson.

Needed to tape boxes for moving project. Wanted something that was easy to use. This is not the product. No instructions on how to thread tape. Tape slips out of dispensing mechanism easily.

Staples-branded products usually pass my usage test BUT this gun comes on a card with NO LOADING INSTRUCTIONS I own several tape guns and have no problems loading them with new tape rolls. BUT this gun is nOT intuitive when it comes o loading. If I could find my receipt (We're moving) I WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT ALREADY iF i COULD HAVE GIVEN IT LESS THAN 1 STAT i OULD HAVE!

Poorly made handle broke

The tape does not come out easily much harder to use compared to my other packing tape dispenser. Handle broke the third time I used it. It was not well made and the design was subpar too.
