The dispenser is fine but the cutting edge needs to be set forward a little. It is often difficult to get the tape to cut.

This tape gun constantly gets stuck and the tape bunches up. I ended up just cutting the tape with scissors.

Tape sticks to the dispenser and if you can pry it off and are able to get some onto the packing box it will not cut the tape! What a horrible design. I will be returning this and not buying Staples brand products anymore. Their time is over. Quality is a thing of the past.
