It doesn’t work that well. Sometimes the tape won’t catch so you have to start it by hand. When it does work correctly it’s very good.

The feel is good but the metal tape guide is too flat against the tape and the tape tends to stick against it. A straighter piece of metal with just the edge holding the tape would be better as it would have less surface for the tape to stick to.

I really like these tape dispensers. They are a good size and very comfortable to use. The only thing I don't like is that they don't last very long with lots of use. The plastic piece on them breaks off easily and makes them not cut very well. I need a dispenser this size but more heavy duty.
