Horrible construction of dispenser!

This dispenser has poor mechanics on the dispensing end. The tape was consistantly tearing in the wrong place as well as sticking back to itself and/or the dispenser. I personaly believe the cutting edge is too small and should carry across the whole roll.

I bought this for my son for Christmas as he ships alot of packages. He uses the smaller plastic tape dispensers and sometimes they break. I thought I would buy him a heavy duty one. He finds it harder to use than the plastic ones although it is much sturdier.

I like the dispenser but the attached cutter is hard to use. You have to be at the right angle to get it to cut without wasting too much tape. It's a good idea just needs tweaking.
