It's not pretty it doesn't have any bells and whistles but if you're looking to tape a lot of boxes this does the job very well.

Tape is difficult to dear from mechanism and difficult to re-align. Danger of causing harm when re-aligning the tape or putting a new tape in.

3 of us tried to thread the tape. I Took it back to Staples. Staples salesman said it was threaded correctly. It didn't look right but he said it was. NOT. When I tried to use it tonight I had a lot of trouble. It is not threaded correctly. I will have to take it back again. Why can't it come threaded along with picture instructions for those of us who need it.

The teeth seem to be too coarse (comparing to previously owned dispensers) and the tape tends to get mangled and not cut.
