Excellent sponges!

The green scrubbing side is great for cleaning tough baked-on food off and cleaning greasy messes. The yellow side is great for every day cleaning. The best part… you can pop them in the dishwasher to be sanitized over and over! * I received this product in exchange for an honest review

Good Heavy Duty Sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M provided a free sample of the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge for my objective opinion.
The Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge attempts to meet the challenge of tough cleaning projects. With oven racks to clean, I first used the sponge with regular dishwashing soap. It's S shaped design and flexibility made it easy to wrap around each rack bar in order to scrub all sides at once.
The sponge was able to clean the superficial baked on food. However, it should not be expected to scrub thick baked on grime without the appropriate cleaner. After 3 cleanings with oven cleaner and the initial cleaning, the sponge addressed 85% of the grime. While the sponge stayed together, it does appear more worn than I expected. With this wear, I will restrict it for future use on additional racks or outdoor grills.
Because of the heavy-duty scrubbing surface, I would not recommend that the sponges be used on chrome, china, or shiny stainless steel/surfaces.

While these can be placed in the dishwasher to help sterilize them, I don’t have a dishwasher so soaking in hot water will be needed.
While I didn’t expect the heavy-duty scrub sponges to address this amount of baked on food, I would have hoped it did not appear or become so worn during this challenging cleaning

Makes scrubbing alot easier

With the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge hard jobs are so much easier to get cleaned up- this product is durable and last without tearing and falling apart.

Easy on fingers, tough on grime!

Every time I use my Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub sponge, I think of all the times I used to use steel wool and would get those little pieces of it in my fingers..yowser! Now I get my pots and pans completely clean and shinny without the pain of using steel wool.I also love not having rusty steel wool pads to worry about..these sponges are truly the best thing to use for scrubbing your pots and pans, cleaning your sink, and so many other uses. I think I would give up just about any other cleaning item in my kitchen with the exception of these sponges!

I found that this one last longer then the rest. It doesnt fall apart after only a couple uses. Its tough and works wonders on everything.
