Bought this mainly for ice crushing feature, but it doesn't work well. Leaves large chunks that just spin around. Usually just use it for shakes, so didn't want to spend a lot of money.

Worked well for about a year. Then, the unit wouldn't run when the jar was on it. The motor works fine until the jar goes on it. Then, it makes noise, won't turn the blade. and the motor shuts off. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common problem. Don't buy this product.

It stopped working with 2 months of receipt. Cuisinart would do nothing except have me send back for evaluation. As I use the blender every day. I declined their time consuming offer as I would need to buy another anyway. It wasn’t a cuisinart that I purchased.

I have had this blender twice, it has lasted 9mo each time. I use my blender Rarely, however primarily for smoothies, always careful to have the right frozen to liquid ratio. With my experiences, this blender blends unevenly and as mentioned - has not lasted long before the motor has quit. I gave up this blender for a ninja and am much happier.

The blender constantly shuts off and has to be unplugged and reset. That is for any setting that operates for more than 15 seconds. It does not work very well. I bought it because my 20 year old blender worked so well.
