Good functional edc light

What sets this light above some others is being able to shine the forward main light and the laser simultaneously. Imagine pointing to where a snake is hiding in a dark basement with no other light. The battery life is good and the magnet is strong. The long slender design is appealing. Negatives: the control buttons and recharging port are too close together. When that snake is creeping towards you in the dark you want to hit the correct button quickly!

Bought recently for work as a electrician. Nice inspection flashlight and/or small work light.
My only recommended request would be a stronger magnet and a bite clip on the light somewhere.

A rechargeable small bright inspection light, and it’s got a laser pointer? And an area light? And a strong magnet??? Yes, please! Like any of my other Coast products this light does not disappoint! Durable and versatile in a small package at a reasonable price. You need this!

As the title says, I have been shopping for a hand held laser for a while. I bought this based on my experience with other Coast products and Coast's guarantee on its products. Too many of the lasers I looked at were by no-name Chinese companies with, at least in my mind, questionable guarantees. I haven't checked the laser yet to see what distance in projects effectively. That chore is near the top of my to-do list. I need a fairly open space where I can targets to get an idea of the distance it will project, not as simple a process as you might think.
