Goodbye drip coffee

Just received this for Father's Day and I love it! I will never return to drip coffee again. The coffee is rich & smooth. We bought smaller cups to replace the big mugs. Along with the small footprint of the machine, the counter is less cluttered; nice bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good coffee, some minor issues

I've been using this machine since January 2025, it makes good coffee. It's easy to operate and to clean. It has a few negative issues: grinds build up and fall into the cup and all over the counter. To avoid this I thoroughly clean out the portafilter after each use, (just dumping the puck isn't good enough) and I wipe underneath the left side where the water flows thru the portafilter. There is a design flaw: if you want to use a regular size cup you must remove the elevated drip tray and balance the cup across the depression that the tray fits into. I bought rubber feet and stuck them to the drip tray grate to overcome this flaw. But a redesign is in order. The rear loading water tank is awkward, hard to load when full of water. And the portafilter is starting to rust around the handle. I advise purchasing an extra one.
This is not espresso, it is not tamped. No matter if you hit the boost button or not, it is just coffee.

Great espresso in one swipe - is literally right

Great espresso and super easy to use. Sleek design and sustainable product features. I wish certain parts or all metal but I understand the price point doesn’t allow for it to have those metal components.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor web site!

I need to buy a this part but unfortunately the web site doesn't allow me. Moreover, I dont live in US, but i bought my Baristina there when I was traveling. As this product is not officialiy distributed in my country, my unique way to solve this is buying through this web site! Please, i just wanna buy it! Help me to allow me to use my Baristina again!

Broken after 4 months

This machine was great while it lasted, but it broke after only 4 months. After reading other reviews, it appears to be very common. I tried to submit a warranty claim and the website says this product is an exclusion and has “no solutions”…extremely disappointing to say the least. No more Phillips products for me.
