The chain came off 4 times when making 30-40 cuts. It went back on fairly easy after the first 3 times, it I haven't tried the fourth time. I moved to the chain saw I bought and had worse problems with it. No email available on their website and when calling their number, I started out as the 2nd one on the list. After 30 minutes, I was still the 2nd on the list and gave up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No issues with shipping. Pole saw has plenty of cutting power and battery life is good. Shoulder strap is great assist in handling saw. Only issue I experienced is the chain came off the bar 4 times. I tried tightening chain but still came off. Appears to me when debris collects around sprocket and bar the chain comes off. I tried tightening down chain but stilll came off. I"ve never had this issue with my regular chain saw. I read a few other reviews with the same issue. Must be a design issue.

The saw leaks oil while hanging in storage. Manual advises to fill the oil container. Customer support response is yes it is supposed to leak just don't put more oil in than needed. How do you know how much is needed for each use? There is no easy way to get oil out after use.

The automatic chain oiler and reservoir holds 2.7 oz. of your favorite bar oil. That should give users about 30 minutes of cutting time between refilling, keep an eye on the translucent oil-level indicator window for safety.

We live on 3/4 acres in Florida and have lots of trees on our property that grow amazingly fast. I got this pole saw to try and keep the trees in check and it has worked like a champ. It’s easy to handle and easily cuts through branches several inches thick. I get tired of cutting way before I have to change the battery. Great product and I highly recommend it.

I bought this more for having a pole hedge trimmer but have been using the pole saw just as much. Very impressed with the power as well as cutting capabilities. The pole saw has worked up to 4-5" diameter limbs and could probably cut thru larger diameter. Well balanced and great battery life.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective

Powerful tree trimmer

I needed to do some serious tree trimming. Already had 80v batteries and have been super impressed with my Greenworks string trimmers and chain saws so I bought this pole saw. So incredibly powerful. Cut through large branches like butter. This must be by far the best electric trimmer available. Has gas power. I'm a novice tree trimmer but was able to do a pro looking job in part of an afternoon. I'm so pleased. Had to think out each cut, especially to avoid damaging the nearby storage building, but that was easy.
The one drawback is that the tool is a bit heavy. However, you can see in the photo that I'm not really a big strong man (5'9" 155 lbs.) and while I work with tools on my acreage, I don't go to the gym and spend much of my time at a computer keyboard. The tool weight was not a major issue and is the tradeoff for long reach and high power. I couldn't be happier. My neighbors were impressed that I did this job all by myself no prob.
