This is an excellent 2 way machine. The saw cuts 3 in branches easily. It's easy to handle and can reach those tough to get branches. You can switch the pole hedge trimmer very quickly. The hedge trimmer is very efficient on taller grasses and weeds. The ticker woodier hedges can cause some problems.

Added this pole saw to my 60v stable of tools. Great reach with included extension, yet easy to disassemble for transport or storage. Robust design for tough jobs.

So glad I got this - it is so much lighter and easier to use than my gas pole saw. It chewed through logs faster than my gas chainsaw as well. We have extra batteries from our mower and trimmer, so we are set. Really enjoying all our Greenworks tools.

Got to say I doubted whether battery technology would deliver in a pole saw. No more doubts, it's SO much easier to deal with than a gas version and delivers the performance.

Overall the product is powerful and does its job. Some reasons it didn’t get a 5 star, the battery charger is very loud, the cover for the hedger is made of cheap plastic and already broke on day 1. The shoulder strap does not attach in the correct economic fashion as most other pole trimmers do in order to save fatigue of shoulders, arms, and back.
I used a competitors prior to this product and in comparison the green works is far more powerful and the saw cuts much more efficiently and quickly.
