Makes a difficult job easy

I have a lot of trees in my yard and I got tired of use my old fashion muscle-powered pole saw. This pole gets the job done with ease. I use it for about 15 minutes and the battery was still fully charged at the end. It does go through the chain lube quickly. In fact, the lube on my unit was splashing off the rotating chain, flying through the air and landing on the user.

Love the Green works family of tools , have not had any issues yet with my tools for over the year of use (weed eater/leaf blower/pole saw.)I use the 60 volt series on my 1 and a half acre property and they work well.(CONS) price points can be on the high side so if i do buy I will always wait for a sale. some items don't come with the Battery and must be bought alone.

Great addition to yardwork tools

Loads of trees in the yard means loads of branches to trim. The optional extension piece means you don't have to have the full 9' reach. Sometimes the 6' reach is preferred. The automatic oiler makes it easier to use and maintain.

I bought this after using a standard Greenworks battery powered chainsaw for 2 years which worked great. I needed to reach some higher branches and found tree climbing and ladder use with a chainsaw not to be easy or safe.
The pole saw allows access to branches up to some 12-13 ft above ground and cut 4-5” diameter branches safely, quickly and easily. The hedge trimmer also works very quickly on the top of 2 high bushes that front my house.
It is a little heavy but with some practice and the support handle it can be manipulated by most people who can handle their standard chainsaw.
I give it 5 stars and have been very happy with it. The lithium batteries have allowed well over 30 minutes of near continuous run time.

This saw has done the job for me. I have had the chain slip off a couple of times, but I attribute that to user error. I now know what to watch for if the chain is getting too much slack in it, so I just adjust it and go on. Plenty of power for what I need. I only wished the pole were longer for some of the trees I have to trim.
