Works as advertised. Hedge trimmer will cut through 1/2" to 5/8" branches and makes quick work of smaller stuff. 60v battery seems to have plenty of power. Only problem I have is that the unit is heavy and gives my old body a real work-out! But, it does the job.

Chain loosens up

I like the saw in general but the chain seems too loosen up a lot. Maybe this will improve with more use

We are glad to hear you are overall enjoying the product! Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. Easy set up. Works well. I bit heavy with the battery at one end and the electric motor at the other, but not unreasonably so. Especially since it only extends to around 10 feet. Overall, I'm pleased

My new favorite outdoor tool

This is the perfect tool for trimming all the trees that seem to grow faster than weeds here in Connecticut. Works flawlessly and fast and i really like how high up I am able to easily trim tree branches.

The 10" 60V pole saw was just my latest Greenworks purchase. I started with a leaf blower and then a string trimmer. All three items were purchased with a battery and charger and all three are 60V. I can now use any of the three and have two fully charged backup batteries.

When using it laterally (horizontally) to trim thick hedges, I've had trouble with the chain disengaging. As a result, I've become quite good at resetting the chain on the bar. Maybe I need more experience and practice with the saw so that the chain will not disengage so often.
