Great power, flimsy bar and chain

The battery is great, both the run time and the power of the tool. But the chain constantly slips off the bar, and it’s a huge pain to reinstall and adjust. The tension screw loosens while you work, and it’s difficult to reach snd turn with the provided tool. The screw is flimsy and gets stuck easily, stopping you from tightening the chain enough. Basically when the saw is running, it’s great—but I spent at least five minutes fixing the chain for every two minutes of sawing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To adjust the chain tension.
1.Loosen the chain cover by turning the bar nut counterclockwise.
2. Turn the chain tension screw behind the bar and chain clockwise to increase the chain tension.
3. Turn the chain tension screw counterclockwise to decrease the chain tension.
4. When the chain is at the wanted tension, tighten the chain cover.
Please note, it is not necessary to remove the chain cover to adjust the chain tension.

The pole hedge trimmer was very sharp and cut really well. Reaches quite high. Pole chain saw worked great cutting good sized limbs (about 6 inches) on a pine tree. Cut fast with no problems.
