Bought this two months ago and keep trying to find more uses for the pole saw around the property. Bought it with one task in mind and just keep using it for others. Love the battery option and bought blower two weeks afterwards. Looking at other tools to add to the collection.

Battery or gas?

I was hesitant to buy a battery powered unit as I've always used gas chain saws. I've only used it twice so far. I am impressed with the power and the ease of handling the unit. Much lighter than my telescoping gas unit. Not too heavy and cut through 3" diameter branches very quickly. Haven't had a chance to evaluate battery life.

Phenomenal tool! Cuts pretty thick branches really easily. Of course, you have to put chain lube pretty often and tighten the chain often too, but I'm sure that's with every pole saw. Either way, great tool!
