Mine was working great, until the string started coming out. Then in one swift moment it was gone and I can't seem to get it to stay in anymore. I suggest investing in additional spools also.

Sorry to hear of your experience. This string trimmer does not have replacement spools as it features our Load n' Go trimmer head for quick rewinding within seconds! This product may be rewound using a .080" trimmer line. You may view ours in the following links, however, you may also use line of this diameter found at your local hardware store.

I love the Greenworks chainsaw and cultivator, but wish I bought the bigger trimmer. It doesn't feel like the same quality as the other products. I thought I would be fine with the cheaper trimmer, but was wrong. Way to short of line. The handle doesn't tighten well. It is awkward to use. My advise is to buy Greenworks, but not the cheapest of the options. I love the leaf blower. Just like my Geenworks chainsaw, I find myself using more because of the convenience of just popping in a battery and getting the job done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
