Short run time

Like the tools, blower is strong, trimmer works well especially the easy refill of line. Battery life SUCKS. I have to recharge to trimmer and we have a smaller yard, very disappointing
Pros: Quiet

String trimmer is very nice and strong and the 2 speed options allows me to cut grasses and branches with ease, it does not struggle and the battery lasts a long time. Been using it to cut down Japanese knotweed in my yard and it does it very well. And so much better to instantly start it compared to a gas one, plus it’s no where near as numbing as a gas one. The blower is very nice and strong. Been abusing the tools since I got them and they’ve held up perfectly. Another plus is that the battery can be used on the lawnmowers.

Outstanding and powerful blower, it took the replacement version of the 13 inch string trimmer to allow proper auto string release..but working well now. The long handle and battery weight at the end makes edging a bit harder..but with practice technique should improve. Nice to have several tool on same power system

failed, poor design

While sticks and debris are common in many lawns, contact with harder or thicker objects can sometimes impact components such as the blade, blade adapter, or motor shaft, depending on the angle and force of impact.
We see that you have already been in contact with the Greenworks team and that your unit is being sent in for repair, which will allow a full inspection of the affected components and help determine the best path forward. In the meantime, it may be helpful for future use to clear larger debris from the mowing area beforehand and periodically check that the blade is properly secured and free from damage, as this can help reduce the risk of similar issues.
