We bought this three weeks ago and used it a couple times now and it is perfect. Can cut through knee high grass like nothing and barely use any battery. It’s run time even with the 2.5 ah battery is phenomenal. We have had the 60v 21” push mower with a 4 ah battery for quite some time now, so figured we’d start to add to the collection. Both are amazing products.

Light, easy to use, good battery life. Auto feed would be preferred, but this still works great.

My son bought 40v 2 battery weed wacker new for mother's day second time out she complained of it dying when she uses it. It now spins up then dies like the batteries are dead but both are 24.4 V no load.

Hello Bob Bel,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you still require further assistance, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit, battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Really like the precise speed control for edging. Like the balance of the trimmer making it easier on the back. Battery life is more than adequate for my needs.

I love this trimmer. It is simple and convenient and works every time. I always had problems with my gas trimmer so I rarely used it. I use this one every week. I love the fact that it is 16" and uses .095 line. The 2.5amp battery is ok, but for my size yard, I use my 6amp battery and I never run out of juice. It is a bit heavy but not much more than my gas trimmer.

A great residential string trimmer with good balance and run time. Adding trimmer line is simple with the new “Load and Go” system this Greenworks uses.

Replaced my gas-powered trimmer with this, and I'm glad I did.

No pull-start, instant-on, light weight, good balance, very low noise, and general all-around ease of use make this an excellent yard tool.
