String feeder doesn’t work

I like greenworks but string feeder is useless. It never works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for any trouble you have encountered and appreciate your feedback on this matter. This is a bump n’ feed unit. The unit must be turned on and you will need to tap the bump knob on the ground to release additional line. Trimmer line of about 1/4" will feed out each time you bump the head. As long the mechanics for the line release are understood and exercise you should have no issues releasing line. We hope this information has been helpful. Surprisingly powerful!

I purchased the PRO 60V 16” with 2.5 ah battery and received it about a week ago. Finally had a chance to use it today and was amazed at the ample power at the lower power setting. I’m very happy with the performance of this trimmer and I’m thrilled that I no longer need to drag a cord around my yard!

Easy to assemble and powerful

After struggling with gas powered trimmers not starting and my arms feeling like they would fall off, I researched my battery powered options. From unboxing to putting the equipment together and charging the battery I was ready to work in a little over an hour. I smiled from ear to ear the whole time! Minimal noise, no smell and with a push of button I got my job done. I'm already looking at the next piece of Greenworks equipment.

This tool is longer and a little heavier than expected but has good balance. Probably a better fit for taller folks. I’m excited to use this more and hope it holds up as well as the 60v Greenworks mower we have also.

Great trimmer so far. I didn't have a lot of opportunity to use it but I found it effective, easy to use and powerful. The battery seems to last a long time as well. I used it for 20 minutes straight to trim some small branches and bushes (not grass) and the battery is only down 1 bar. I'm happy with my purchase.
